Deadly Car Crash At Beau Songe
Louis Charles Appadu, 53 years, and his son in law, Patrick chicory, two residents of Bamboo, were killed in a violent car crash in the turn from Pierrefonds and Beau Songes. The jockey Simon Jones, who was involved in the accident which occurred around 2 am, Sunday, left the place before the arrival of the police, at the same time raising a controversy over a required alcohol test. The wife of Simon Jones was also injured.
Both vehicles, a break of the Mazda Model, registered GC 907, in which the two victims were travelling, and the 4x4 vehicles of jockey Jones give an indication of the shock. The front of the Mazda was completely up crushed, especially the right side. Rescuers arrived on the scene was facing difficulties to extricate the two residents of Bamboo from the damaged vehicle.

The vehicle driven by the jockey Simon Jones had two other passengers. Patricia Jones, his wife was injured and is currently admitted to the clinic-Fortis Darné. Michael Jones also travelled in the company of the couple. In a first time, Jones had to go to the Candos hospital for an initial care before being transferred to a private clinic.
Relatives of two victims denounce some special treatment so far granted to members of the family of the groom, especially as Simon Jones has evacuated the scene before police arrived. They wonder whether the police procedures in cases of serious road accidents do not always require alcohol tests on the field. Until the police Bamboos, charged with the investigation, establish the causes and circumstances of this new deadly accident, the information available is that for reasons unknown, the 4x4 vehicle of jockey was pulled from his own side to the right in the bend of the road of Beau Songes, shortly after the Tamil temple, to hit the Mazda, which was in the direction of Geoffroy cross the road. In a first step, a provisional charge of manslaughter should be lodged against Simon Jones in the court of Bamboos. Louis Charles Appadu and Patrick came from Chicory to drop their close relatives to the road of Palma and returned home to Bamboo when the accident occurred. With this last accident, the number of casualties since the beginning of the year was 52 against 53 at this time last year. 140 people were killed in road accidents last year.
