New: Long Beach Hotel



The Sun Resorts Hotels group intends to invest about 2, 5 billions Rupees (58 million euro) in the upgrading of the new hotel, Long Beach, on the site of the ancient Coco Beach Hotels at Belle Mare.

The ancient establishment which had not been renovated during several years, was entirely cleared to give up the place for the Long Beach Hotels which is due to open the opening next December. The new hotel, of the five stars category, will consist of 225 rooms and suites, all with view facing the lagoon of the east coast. The hotels will be positioned in the category of the family luxury hotels and rooms will be ranked so as anyone can easily identify a main room for the parents and an annexed room - with shower and independent toilets - being able to focus up to four children.

Long Beach will also target the market of seminaries, conferences and trips of instigations (MICE) of firms. Having located on one of the biggest hotels ownership of Mauritius, the hotels will enjoy a beach of 700 metres long, the longest beach of a hotel establishment. Long Beach will also consist of all opportunities of a hotel of this class with swimming pools, SPA, Thalasso Therapy and restaurants on the water.

The hotel has already a Managing director known by the name of Nicolas de Chalain. The latter, as well as Arnaud Martin, Marketing Manager of Sun Resorts, were recently in London to introduce the new hotel to the professionals of tourism and trip.
