b) As from October 2004, Nationals of Republic of India, People’s Republic of China, Jordan and Lebanon visiting Mauritius on holidays for a period of stay to fifteen days. They should apply and obtain a visa before undertaking any travel to Mauritius if they intend to stay for more than 15 days and for any other purpose.
c) As from November 2004, visa requirements are waived for nationals of the new Member States of the European Union, namely :-
Czech Republic, Estonian Republic, Slovak Republic, Hungary, Republic of Latvia, Republic of Lithuania, Slovenia, Poland.
d) Visa of two weeks may be granted on arrival in Mauritius to nationals of:-
Albania, Bulgaria, Comores, Fiji, Madagascar, Romania, Ex-USSR, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Republic Kyrgystan, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Republic of Tadjikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Republic of Uzbekistan and also Georgia.
e) Visa of three months may be granted on arrivals in Mauritius to national of Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Paraguay
f) Visa for sixteen days may be granted to nationals of Republic of Korea.
g) National of all other countries require a visa to enter Mauritius.
h) A transit Visa may be granted to a passenger traveling to a third country provided he leaves by the first available connecting flight. If the transit exceeds 24 hours, visa should be obtained before traveling.
Note:
The final decision to admit a passenger into Mauritius rests solely on the immigration Authorities after examination at the points of Entry.
